Rhoda Florence (Florrie) Stuart, née Collings (1872-1932) singer, writer and political activist
Birth: 26 June 1872 at Brighton, Sussex, England, daughter of Joseph Silver Collings (1842-1904), grocer, and Mary Ann, née Dyke (1836-1919). Marriage: 4 September 1895 at the General Registry Office, Brisbane, Queensland, to John (Julian) Alexander Salmon Stuart (1866-1929), trade unionist and labour journalist. They had one daughter and five sons. Death: 28 July 1932 in hospital at Perth, Western Australia. Religion: Freethinker.
