Great grand-daughter of Lawrence Rostron, one of our earliest pioneers, who arrived in Victoria from England in 1842 and settled on Tottington Station, St. Arnaud. Wife of Dr. G. C. Scantlebury, son of Dr. George J. Scantlebury, of Cheltenham, Victoria. Family, only daughter, Kathleen Mary; educated at “Clyde,” Woodend, Victoria.
ACTIVITIES. Member of Committee of Janet Clarke Hall, Trinity College; Member, Executive of the Friendly Union of Soldiers' Wives and Mothers. Greatly interested in Melbourne Hospital and South Yarra Red Cross Auxiliary of the Melbourne Hospital. Worked at the Australian Red Cross in London from 1916-1919. Attached to the Wounded and Missing Enquiry Bureau, and a member of the Australian Voluntary Aid Detachment.
