Birth: 1877 at Yan Yean, Victoria, daughter of Walter Cherrille (also known as Cherilli or Cheville) Hillier (1838-1920), a painter, born at Southwark, Surrey, England, and Melbourne-born Marion, née Masham (1843-1898). Marriage: 21 May 1901 at Trinity Church, Balaclava, Victoria, to Thomas Rapley (1868-1945), a carpenter, born at Collingwood, Victoria. They had two daughters and five sons. Death: 11 October 1962 in Women’s Home at Mt Henry, Western Australia. Religion: Anglican.
