Birth: 11 October 1885 at Redbanks, near Wasleys, South Australia, son of Irish-born parents Peter Lynch (1848-1915), an agricultural labourer from Cavan, Ireland, and Ellen, née Connolly (1853-1929), from Tralee. Marriage: 22 February 1916 at St Mark’s, Port Pirie, SA, to native-born Mary Andrys (b.1886). Death: 4 November 1969 at Adelaide, South Australia; usual residence Randolph Avenue, Fullarton, Adelaide. His wife survived him. Religion: Catholic.
