William Jones (1800–?)

William Jones was sentenced to seven years transportation for street robbery. He arrived in Sydney in 1820 aboard the Hebe. His occupation was given as stirrup filer, his height as 5 feet 9½ inches (175.3 cms) and he was described as having a florid complexion with flaxen hair and hazel eyes. He married Catherine Hobbs in 1823.
