Birth: 20 October 1911 at Lautoka, Fiji, son of James Coulthart (1871-1940), born in West Derby, Lancashire, England, and Sydney-born Anne Elizabeth, née Lyons (1880-1943). Marriage: 25 June 1932 in St Patrick’s Catholic church at Bondi, Sydney, New South Wales, to native-born Dorothy Edna Molloy (1907-1999). They had two sons. Death 18 January 1974 at North Bondi, Sydney, NSW. Religion: Catholic.
