Birth: 18 August 1922 in Adelaide, son of English-born parents William Joseph Churchett (1883-1942), labourer, and Rosetta May, née Cheeseman (1893-1986). Marriage: 19 March 1949 at Unitarian Church, Wakefield Street, Adelaide, to Marjorie O. R. Butler. They had one son and one daughter. Death: possibly on 22 April 2017 at Magill, South Australia. Religion: Anglican.
