Born, Beechworth, Victoria. Daughter of the late James Cunningham, Esq., of Beechworth, Victoria (born in Scotland), and Marion Scott (nee Carrick).

Wife of Councillor Henry Peter Zwar, M. L. A., J. P., Mayor of Preston (1933-34), son of Michael and Agnes Zwar, of Broadford, Victoria.

Family: Beryl Carrick, now Mrs. Harry Hughes, of Milloo, Victoria. Enid Jean. Both daughters attended South Preston School and Presbyterian Ladies' College, Melbourne. Herman Richard was educated at West Preston School and Melbourne Grammar School.

ACTIVITIES. Life Governor of Women’s Hospital, 1924; Queen Victoria Hospital, 1924; Eye and Ear Hospital 1927; First President of the Central Council of Auxiliaries for The Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital; President of Preston Red Cross and also Mayoress’s Guild. 1933-34; Past President of Northcote Creche; Member of Clifton Hill Women’s Hospital Auxiliary; Member, Women's Centenary Council.

HOBBIES. Music, Literature. CLUBS. International, Preston Bowling Club.
