John Winter (c. 1758–?)

John Winter (c.1758- ) was a seaman on the Alexander when he arrived at Sydney in January 1788 as part of the First Feet. On the return voyage Winter joined the crew of the Sirius at the Cape of Good Hope in February 1789 and returned to the colony. He had a daughter, Elizabeth, with Ann Sandlin; she was baptised on 15 August 1790.

John Winter returned to England on the Supply in March 1791 and was discharged at Deptford in May 1792.
