Born, Ingleston, Victoria, Daughter of the late James Hanson, Penrith, England. Wife of H.S.K. Ward, Esq., Merchant, of Melbourne; son of William Ward, of Birmingham, England.

CHARITIES and ACTIVITIES. Life Austin Hospitals; President of Ladies’ Aid Association of the Homoeopathic Hospital (five years); Member of the National Council of Women of Victoria, as delegate for Ladies' Aid Association; Member of Centenary Council, representing Ladies’ Aid Association; Past Vice-president of Girls’ Club, St. Kilda; Vice-president of League of Mission Helpers for Archdeacon Lamble’s “Eight Homes;" Member of the Committee of the Renown Kindergarten. During the Great War was actively engaged in Red Cross Work, and connected with Soldiers' Lounge and Rest Home at St. Kilda.

HOBBIES. Horticulture, Travelling. (Having toured extensively throughout Europe, America, Canada, South Africa and the Continent. ) Whilst in England in 1925 was presented to Her Majesty Queen Mary.

CLUBS. Victoria League, Quamby, English Speaking Union.
