Letitia Buckham was born on 22 June 1801 at Parramatta, the daughter of Robert Allcock, a convict who arrived on the Pitt in 1792 and Sarah Bucham who arrived as a convict on the Indispensible in 1795. She was baptised on 19 July 1801, by Rev. Samuel Marsden at St John's Church of England, Parramatta.
Buckham/Allcock married Thomas Smith on 14 June 1820 at Parramatta. Following her husband's death in 1834 she married (as Liticia Smith) Richard Wall on 4 August 1835. She died on 12 August 1844; her name was registered as Lydia Wall.
