Margaret Alfreda Matheson Stewart

Daughter of the late E. A. Tapper, Esq., a well-known member of the Stock Exchange, Dunedin, N. Z., and Elizabeth Tapper, daughter of the late Kenneth Gunn, Esq., of Melbourne. Born Invercargill, N. Z.

Educated at “Braemar” College, Dunedin, N. Z.

Wife of Captain E. R. Stewart, a well-known pilot of Melborne, and Lieut-Commander of A. R. N. R., who was associated for many years with the Union Steamship Company. Son of the late Robert Stewart, of Melbourne. Educated at Queen's College, St. Kilda, and Scotch College, Melbourne.

Two sons, Robert Alfred, a Customs and Shipping Agent in Geelong; educated at Geelong College. Geoffrey Kenneth, who is settled on the land, educated at Geelong Grammar, and secured diploma at “Longerenong,” Horsham.

ACTIVITIES. Member, Executive of the Ministering Children’s League; prominent worker and delegate Australian Women’s National League; Member, Victoria League, National Council of Women, South Yarra Children's Hospital Auxiliary; Member, International Club; Member, Country Women’s Association, Yarra Branch.

HOBBIES. Golf. Motoring (one of the early women motorists), winner of many trophies at Queenscliff and Geelong.
