Wife of Walter Howard Sparke, Bank Manager, of Melbourne, who has been associated with the Bank of Australasia for the past 44 years; son of John Alfred Sparke, of Maitland, New South Wales.
Family, three sons and one daughter; Frederic Walter, Wool Expert; Howard James, Wool Expert (winner of Woolmans Company, England, medal for wool research); Maurice Bowyer; Mary Grace, an active worker in Social Welfare sphere and a keen traveller and motorist.
ACTIVITIES. Has in the pioneering development of the Mont Albert district been associated with and on Committees of all Charity, Church, Educational, and Social Welfare movements, and is a Life Governor of the Melbourne Hospital, and Member of the Australian Women’s National League.
HOBBIES. Motoring, Travelling. Gardening. Has travelled extensively and motored throughout England and on the Continent.
