Born, Geelong, Victoria. Daughter of the late John Aloysius McRae, of Invernesshire, Scotland, and Caroline Louisa McRae (nee Barnett), of Adelaide, South Australia, and Geelong, Victoria.

Wife of Edmund Shepherd, Esq., Managing Director of J. Bartram & Son Pty. Ltd., of Melbourne; previously General Manager of Jarrah Timber Mills Ltd., Western Australia; son of the late Edmund Shepherd, of Essex, England.

Family, one son and two daughters. Bruce McRae, educated at Geelong Church of England Grammar School, Corio, Victoria. Désirée, educated at Toorak College, Toorak, Melbourne; now Mrs. Desmond V. Shaw. Corona, educated at St. Catherine's, Toorak, Melbourne; now Mrs. William Alan Catanach.

CHARITIES. Interested in Church of England Brighton Babies’ Home, and all forms of organised charity.
