Edith Harriet Richardson (1860–1937)

Born, Geelong.

Educated at Ladies’ College, Geelong, Victoria.

Wife of the Honourable H. F. Richardson, M. L. C., 1912-34, Chairman of Directors of Messrs H. F. Richardson & Co. Ltd., Merchants, Geelong; Mayor of Geelong, 1894-96. Family, three sons and one daughter. Educated at Geelong College, Geelong Church of England Grammar School and Church of England Girls’ Grammar School.

ACTIVITIES. President of Geelong and Western District Ladies’ Benevolent Association for 10 years and member for 30 years. Foundation Member of the Belmont Croquet Club and for 16 years President. Interested in all charitable activities, particularly the kindergarten connected with the Ladies’ Benevolent Association.

HOBBIES. Gardening, Croquet.

CLUBS. Quamby, Geelong and County Club.
