Ben Peters (1874–1939), stockman, was born at Bangate station near Angledool, New South Wales, to parents Peter Hippai (also known as Hippai Peters) and Lady Hippai (also known as Lady Cubby). He was married to Dahlia Foster. Survived by three daughter, Grace, Dora, and Rosie, and four sons, Stanley, Henry, Cecil, and Harold, he died at Walgett on 18 October 1939.
