William Percy (?-?) baker, confectioner and trade union official 

Birth: unknown. Death: unknown. 

  • Was a baker and confectioner at Cobar, NSW.
  • Assisted in the formation of the Cobar branch of the Amalgamated Shearers' Union about 1886. Served as honorary branch secretary, Was autocratic and quick to take offence, but possessed of boundless energy. Continued as secretary after branch moved to Coonamble in 1890.
  • In 1893 was dismissed after ASU committee found prima facie evidence of misappropriations from branch funds but subsequently acquitted at Coonamble quarter sessions of charges laid by ASU executive council.
