Robert Mountstephens (?–?)

Robert Mountstephens (Mount Stevens) was a marine drummer in the 27th (Plymouth) Company when he arrived at Sydney aboard the Scarborough in January 1788 as part of the First fleet. He had embarked on the Friendship at Plymouth, England, on 10 March 1787, transferred to the Sirius on 24 March (still at Plymouth), and then transferred to the Scarborough on 19 November 1787 at sea. Mountstephens served in Captain Watkin Tench's company at Port Jackson. He returned to England on the Gorgon in December 1791.
