Born, Coleraine, Victoria. Daughter of the late William John Meek, Esq., Solicitor, of Coleraine, formerly of Cornwall, England, and Mrs. Mary Meek, granddaughter of the late John Cotton, of Doogallook, who arrived in Australia in 1843.

Wife of Patrick McVickar, Esq., late Chief Manager for Melbourne of the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney; son of John McVickar, Dromona, County Antrim, Ireland.

Family, three daughters: Marjorie Coward, Nancy Ellis and Patricia Mary. Marjorie and Patricia educated at Clyde Girls’ Grammar School, and Nancy at Lauriston, Melbourne.

Has travelled extensively throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and the Continent.

HOBBIES. Gardening. Reading.
