Mortimore (Morty) Lynch was a marine in the 24th (Plymouth) Company when he arrived at Sydney aboard the Alexander as part of the First Fleet. He served in Captain James Meredith's Company at Port Jackson. It was reported on 1 June 1788 that he wounded an Aborigine after seeing in his canoe a jacket that had been stolen from his hut on Major Robert Ross's farm.
Lynch probably returned to England on the Atlantic in October 1791.
