Thomas Lovell was sentenced to seven years transportation for stealing a pocket handkerchief worth four shillings. He arrived in Sydney in 1817 aboard the Morley. His occupation was given as glazier in the ship's indent. His height was listed as 5 feet 3¾ inches (162.5 cms), and he was described as having a ruddy complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes. He married Isabella Forrester in 1822.
