Joseph Jefferies (1767-1789) was an able seaman, aged 20, from Staten Island, America, when he arrived at Sydney aboard the Supply in January 1788 as part of the First Fleet. He died on 9 May 1789 and was buried the next day — probably at Sydney Cove.
