Word was received at Lithgow that Mrs. John Harper, a very old respected resident of Wallerawang, had dropped dead in the main street while walking with some friends to a concert. The deceased had almost reached the hall door, when she suddenly collapsed and expired. An inquest was dispensed with, heart disease being the cause of death. Mrs. Harper and her husband, who was for many years connected with the Railway Department, were widely known.
