William Hallam was a marine in the 2nd (Portsmouth) Company when he arrived at Sydney aboard the Lady Penrhyn as part of the First Fleet. He served in Captain Watkin Tench's Company at Port Jackson and was employed making shingles in 1788.
Hallam returned to England on the Gorgon in December 1791.
