Martin Grealish (Gralis) was sentenced to life transportation for burglary and rape. He arrived in Sydney aboard the Java in 1833. The ship's indent listed his occupation as spadesman and farm labourer, and his height as 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cms). He was given a ticket of leave in 1842. He married Margaret Seymour in 1845.
