John Thomas Gosper (1801–1886)

John Gosper purchased 60 acres of land at Upper Colo in 1823, which were in addition to his Portland Head holdings which he continued to farm until at least 1829.

In the 1828 Census he was listed as having 150 acres, with 50 acres cleared and 20 acres under cultivation. He increased his land holdings to 230 acres during his lifetime.
