Born, Adelaide, South Australia, May 4, 1852. Younger daughter of the late Rev. John Gardner, Presbyterian Minister, of Adelaide, S.A., and late of Tasmania and Queenscliff. During the Great War was a member of the Red Cross Council of Victoria from the beginning. Secretary of the Council for South Australia (resigned in 1931). For many years was established in business as a well-known Estate Agent (and was one of the first women in Victoria to conduct a business of this nature). In 1914 took a partner, and the name K. Gardner and Lang continues, but Miss Gardner retired in 1931.

HOBBIES. Needlework, Gardening and Music.
