Edward Field (c.1768-1826) a private in the New South Wales Corps, arrived at Sydney in June 1790 aboard the Scarborough as part of the Second Fleet.
In December 1794 Field was granted 25 acres on the west side of Iron Cove Creek; the grant was later cancelled. Discharged from the NSW Corps on 8 May 1801, he was granted 100 acres on the Nepean River in the Evan district in June 1803.
