Fairfax, John (1826–1886)

John Fairfax may be distantly related to the newspaper Fairfax dynasty but contrary to what some family historians purport he was not a son of William Fairfax and Elizabeth, née Jesson.

He may have been the son of William Fairfax, upholsterer, and Mary Fairfax, who lived in Leamington Priors, Warwickshire, in 1841.
