Dennis Dwan, the son of Edward and Jane Dwan, was baptised at St Philip's Church, Sydney, on 8 September 1791. He left New South Wales with his family, to return to England, aboard the Gorgon in December 1791. He died at sea of heat exhaustion on 2 May 1792 while passing through the tropics.
