Edward Campion/Champion was a sergeant of marines in the 18th (Plymouth) Company when he arrived at Sydney aboard the Scarborough as part of the First Fleet. He served in Captain Watkin Tench's company in Port Jackson. He was sent to Norfolk Island on the Sirius and was stranded there when the ship was wrecked. He returned to England on the Atlantic in 1792.
