Francis Byrne was sentenced to seven years transportation for burglary and robbery. He arrived in Sydney in 1816 aboard the Guildford. His occupation was given as miller and his height as 5ft 9¼ins.
He married Sarah Hibbs in 1820 in Windsor, New South Wales.
