Lady Brunton (Christina Martha)

Born, Londonderry, Ireland. Daughter of the late Mr. David McFadden and Mrs. Martha McFadden, of Londonderry, Ireland.

Wife of Sir William Brunton, Kt., a Governing Director of Messrs. Currie & Richards Pty Ltd., of Melbourne; Chairman of Directors of London Stores Ltd.; Trustee of the Shrine of Remembrance; President of Victorian Bowling Association. Was elected Lord Mayor of Melbourne 1923, to which office he was re-elected in 1924 and 1925. Received the honour of knighthood in January, 1926.

CHARITIES. Patroness of the Malvern Auxiliary for the Blind, Patroness of the Austin Hospital Council, Vice-president of the Melbourne Hospital Auxiliary.

HOBBIES. Gardening, Tennis. CLUB. Quamby.
