Joseph Bone (c. 1746–1788)

Joseph Bone was a carpenter's mate on the Supply when it reached Sydney in January 1788 as part of the First Fleet. He was discharged at Port Jackson on 13 July 1788 after becoming infirm. Leaving for England on the Alexander, he died at sea on 27 July 1788 — probably from scurvy.
