Elizabeth Agnes (Lizzie) Bellair (?–?)

Daughter of the late Captain J. A. Mitchell, who was for many years in China and prominently known in the shipping world. Born, Melbourne, Victoria. Educated at Presbyterian Ladies’ College, Melbourne.

Wife of J.B. Bellair, Esq., of the firm of Messrs. Mitchell, Bellair and Lees, Wheat Brokers and Shippers, who founded the firm in conjunction with Mr. Mitchell.

Family, one son, John; three daughters, Elizabeth, Barbara and Sheila, educated at “Fintona,” Camberwell. John educated at Scotch College, Melbourne, Captain of that School, 1929, and attended Melbourne University.

COMMITTEES. Past Acting President of Victorian Ladies’ Golf Union.

HOBBIES. Gardening, Music, Reading and Golf.

CLUB. President of the Riversdale Golf Club.
