Miss Ball (Effie)

Born, Vaughan, Victoria.

Daughter of the late Charles Ball, Esq., founder of the well-known firm of Messrs. Ball & Welch Pty. Ltd., of Melbourne; and the late Mrs. Tabitha Ball.

INTERESTS. A keen, active worker for all Metropolitan Hospitals. Greatly interested in all forms of Social Welfare for Women and Children. With Lady Tallis and Mrs. W. M. Robbins accomplished valuable work during the Great War. Miss Ball is a Director of Messrs. Ball & Welch Pty. Ltd., and is interested in the collection of Antique furniture, possessing several valuable pieces which were bequeathed her by the late Mrs. Eliza Welch.
