Born at St. Kilda, Melbourne.

Educated, “Faireleight,” St. Kilda. Daughter of Hon. Dr. W. H. Embling, M. L. C., and Mrs. Elizabeth Harding Embling, of St. Kilda, Melbourne.

Wife of Alfred Horace Dawborn, retired Manager of National Bank of Australasia, Melbourne.

CHARITIES. President of Centenary Branch of Austin Hospital Auxiliary; Member, Committee of Management of Foundling Hospital, East Melbourne; Member of National Council of Women. During Great War, rendered continuous service as a Y. M. C. A. worker, and also sang frequently in the interests of charity.

HOBBIES. Singing and Motoring.

CLUBS. English Speaking Union.
