Martha Davis (?–?)

Martha Davis arrived with her marine husband John Davis at Sydney in January 1788 aboard the Prince of Wales as part of the First Fleet. Her daughter Jane, born on 9 May 1787, during the voyage, had died on 13 July 1787.

Martha had two more children at Port Jackson: Thomas who was baptised on 9 August 1788 and Mary who was baptised on 3 September 1791. The family returned to England on the Gorgon in December 1791.
