Chapman, James (1778–1840)

James Chapman was sentenced to seven years transportation. He arrived in Sydney aboard the Glatton in 1803. In 1806 he was employed by Mr Arndell (probably Thomas Arndell). By 1814 he was working as a shoemaker.
