James Campbell (?–1795)

James Campbell (?-1795) was captain of marines 48th Company when he arrived at Sydney aboard the Lady Penrhyn in January 1788 as part of the First Fleet. He was in charge of a company while at Port Jackson and returned to England on the Gorgon in 1791. It is believed that he died in England at the end of 1795.
