John Brown (?–?)

John Brown was a marine in the 56th (Portsmouth) Company when he arrived in Sydney in January 1788 aboard the Scarborough as part of the First Fleet. Brown served in Captain Watkin Tench's Company in the colony and returned to England on the Gorgon in 1791.
